  • The man who needs a gender specific environment in early recovery.

  • The client who needs to get out of his old using environment and into a strong recovery-based location without his usual triggers and distractions.

  • The man with multiple issues and addictions who needs longer term care.

  • The chronic relapser who needs something different of for a longer period of time.

  • The individual who repeatedly gets into unhealthy relationships, or can no longer manage the dysfunction of his primary relationship.

  • The man whose family enmeshment issues have led to severe entitlement.

  • The dual-diagnosis client who can't possibly get stabilized and begin solid recovery in only 4-6 weeks.

  • The client who has been through multiple treatment centers, knows all the right things to say and needs to be challenged to change his behavior over time, not just his vocabulary.

General Information

State licensed, adult male extended care with 36 beds.

Average length of stay is four to six months, dependent on client progress

Minimum 6-week out-patient aftercare program offered.

10 hours per week of community volunteer work until staff approves a part time job or school (usually after month 3).

12-step emphasis with required daily meetings in community.

Self-Esteem workshop of 20-25 hours within the first 6 weeks of stay ($500.00).

EMDR, Nutritionist and Neuropsychological consultation and testing available.

Family session will be organized in the second or third month.

Weekend pass with family as part of the family program, upon staff approval.

Serving the recovery community since 1988.

No social contact with females is allowed.

Initially on Buddy system with a senior house member.

Use of local athletic club available upon staff approval.
